This soul to let go

I reach only to fall
Try as I might
I just fail
Whatever motivation once
Has left my soul
In its place a hole
Blackness and blankness
Darken these eyes
Once vibrant green
Now dead and dry
I can't seem to find
Another reason to strive
When down I'll fall
Every single time
At the mercy of the wind
Broken pieces scatter so
Perhaps it's time finally
For this soul to let go
