I can’t remember when I lost you,
Or when I gave up life.
I can’t remember when I didn’t know,
The person I hide inside.

I can’t remember all the memories,
Of being your little girl,
I can’t remember when I knew I loved you,
When I never wanted to let you go.

I can’t remember when you were gone,
It only felt like 3 whole days,
But then mommy told me it was a few months,
But I never wanted to go with you,
I never wanted to stay!

I can’t remember when I started hating you,
The hatred ate me inside,
Took away everything,
And made me cry at night.

I can’t remember when we clashed,
Or when we fought,
Or when I cried,
I can’t remember when you broke those promises,
That made me run and hide.

I can’t remember the last time we had a decent conversation,
I can’t remember when I sat there and felt the realization.
I can’t remember when I looked at you,
And knew that you were lost,
Hiding in your own world,
You left me at your own cost.

I can’t remember when my heart ached,
When I lost myself inside,
I can’t remember when I had a dad,
That loved me all the time.

I can’t remember when I was your little girl,
I know at one point I was,
But all the memories must have disappeared,
For I can’t remember them at all.

I can’t remember when I lost you,
Or when I gave up life,
I can’t remember when you left me,
Because I’m the one who left it all behind!
