The heart code

by earlgreytea   Jan 30, 2015

If I could look through these hardwired eyes,
I know what I would see;
Command Prompt: Broken Mirrors softly bleeding mercury.
Once an error.. (Module 2)
as I begged spiders to weave
a blanket made of binary,
My IP on my sleeve.
At times the memories cache me..
I cant help but LOGIC OVERRIDE
</default; whispers on the darknet>
I wish you were by my side.

    Judging Comment:

    This piece leaves the audience laughing because it takes an up and coming field of study and work to a new level. IT takes a creative tole on the logic of the computer programming and mixing it with poetry. There is a wonderful use of voice and an overwhelming display of emotion as well. Great use of formatting as well.

    Well thank you guys. :) I was tenacious about putting it in the slang category, but alas, I had to.

    Thankfully, however, Senyru has great taste which just gave him the ability to throw out 4 nominations this week instead.
