We'll Meet Again My Angel

by NoHopeLeft   Feb 3, 2015

I'm going to be a father again,
Such a feeing,
A daughter maybe this time.

Your giving mammy pains early,
Scan it is then,
No way... Two sacks? TWINS,
Oh yes, yes it is...

Safe in Mammy's womb,
Safe and sound,
Growing, Getting Bigger, Stronger.

Another ultrasound today,
Your on the screen it's awesome,
Something isn't right perhaps im insane,

why is there one, Where's the other,
I see look of the nurse
He words "I'm sorry Only one beating heart",

Anger, hurt and pain,
Walls closing in,
So scared incase it happens again.

So gutted you never made it,
They say it isn't our fault,
They say it just happens.

I SAY NO!
I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AS A FATHER IT MY JOB TO PROTECT YOU AND IVE FAILED AS A MAN AND MORE IMPORTANTLY AS A FATHER IM SORRY.
Twin rest on the sky with your great Grandparents because I have to stay with mammy and your two brothers to make them safe. I promise to you, ill look after our remaining twin.

I love you
xXx Daddy xXx

I recently read that grieving is the proof of love. Very heartfelt write. It's so easy to place blame on yourself, I know, but it's not fair to yourself or those around you. Loss is so hard, and when there is no rhyme or reason go it makes it seem even more unfair. Praying that you and your family have peace and comfort.
