No Love Without Freedom

Darkness sleeps with my five senses of love:

Fear.

Insecurity.

Paranoia.

Abandonment.

Danger.

My heart plays a melody
as flat as pancakes,
every note designed to
keep love at an unreachable distance.

My five senses remain on high alert,
and I know that I am damaged property
who will find no love without freedom.

    So this is pretty much heartbreaking to me. I don't know you well or know what you're going through so I'm coming up with my complete own interpretation here.. lol.

    But the idea that those are the five senses of love truly breaks my heart. I have learned mostly about love through Jesus, and those senses are polar opposite of everything that I feel. I hope/pray you'll find that freedom within love! :)

    Omg! You have no idea how much your poem has touched and how much I can relate. It's as if you wrote this about me or how I exactly feel.

    The idea of giving love senses is outsanding and I never thought of wording it that way! So thats very original.

    Indeed no love without being freed! It is these that are always on higher alert that silent the voice of love and comfort.
