Life As We Know It.

by DarkLight   Feb 8, 2015

I pause, to a pose,
Comma, a language dose
Opposed, with the idea to propose.
Heaven and earth, everyday of the month,
You do the math.
We are flying high, they lie,
Blinded with what catches your eye
With love you die.
A mistake, common to all,
A ritual performed by all
the end alone you fall.
Sweetheart they call,
Babydoll to them all.
With every breathe,
They gain strength.
To what length?
With what health?
You'll turn into shell,
Beauty for sometime you will sell,
Too bad like hell,
You end up in a cell.

A.

(lots of people are afraid of responsibilities especially when there is a question of proposing and they end up in bad situations or in drugs and many ends up in jail)

This is something I understand a lot about, its so hard seeing someone you love make big mistakes like this. A very important message to share, and make light of.

Your rhythm is perfect, and word choice is great. I read it in my head like a rap kind of style with a mellow beat in the back ground... But perhaps thats my musician side projecting a little.

Well done! it was great to read

Thought I was the only one who musicalizes poetry, every poem to me is a music, created in different genre, you just need to give it a rhythm, and the beats will follow.....
      Thanks Tim.
