Andrea, there truly are no words for this piece. It's honest, sincere, genuine and true to you.

1: The words here are so delicate. I like how you describe the persons soul as a palace ad it shows you are dedicated to them come rain or shine, throughout life.

2: Wow, stunning. I like the image here of petals floating on a riverbed of tears that are then subjected to love and hopefully subside. Love can do so much for a damaged soul but can also result in damage. I think 'traveled' is missing an L.

The ending is beautiful executed.

It wasn't the shades of
pale aura that invited me
into the palace of your soul-

^ This. is. wow. The word aura is perfect and makes up the first stanza here I feel. You just know when a person feels connected to you, like in love at first sight or this moment in time. Pure is an innocence that forms when you feel no hurt or evil within. so this person you sensed was a pure soul of good and kindness. but it was not the main reason why you fell in love with them.

it was the journey to feel you,
a petal floating upon your river
of tears, I traveled lifetimes
within your heart.

^ It seems here you are the petal that floats and calms or heals this person when they are crying. I love how you made a part 2 to the first stanza of sorts. you have traveled within their heart many times before, but this is the first time you have felt this way. the first time you truly felt connected to them.

^ what a great ending as you are saying that the love you have is forever. The poem is worded so well here andrea you spark the readers interest and pull them in. Nothing is better than falling in love. 5/5
