Interesting piece. It seems as if you never want to let this person go and doing so would crack a heart that has soon forgiven and gave love another chance. It is sad when we cling to someone just to hang on in vain. As humans we are tied to interaction because we need to feel something, whether it be sadness or happiness. The last line here is my favorite though because it tells of a romance and tragic story all in one sitting. Together you are alive and well but separate you are broken. I feel this could be talking about soul mates and how together they are one person or one heart. This poem is definitely well written for a senryu because of the emotional aspect of the meaning, well crafted poem!
