I can somehow, somewhat, someway; relate this poem to the previous one I just reviewed, they both speak of the ones pondering in this life, thoughts of ours and of others, the peace seekers and answers seekers.
In a very positive sense both your poems relate strongly.
Calling the thoughts abandoned, maybe thoughts that are not shared with others, or thoughts that have not been soothed with actions, looking for a shelter, someone to share them with who could embrace them and take them into account.
Loved the mention of food and love, I am not sure if this was intended or not, but the mention of food and love and thoughts is actually the down-cracking of the human system; soul, mind, and nurture..
maybe it was your subconscious revealing these thoughts because you have them deep down within you as a humanist.
Like puuppy pups...rejoice, the sense of happiness peace and comfort, such a beautiful scene!
The 2nd part, just stressting again on your desire, on your need of finding a companion to your own thoughts, choosing the word "interact" showing that you are not necessarily looking for approval but for safety.
And then your moral message at the end,
what a beautiful poem.
