Farewell

This is such an interesting piece Cassie!

You kept this poem simple of sorts but you did a great job in using that to send a strong message to people, honestly you could say that you wrote this for someone in your life that you want to say goodbye to, but are you saying goodbye to them or them to you, it would be another interesting perspective if you did it through the eyes of the other person.

It seems here like you are saying that saying goodbye is not a difficult thing in your life anymore and you are used to it. You have walking in the darkness of your life lately and now you have fully grasped the concept. With open eyes you can truly walk alone into the darkness and not feel sad.

Your world has become a dark place and this world around us doesn't help at all for the darkness has grown. you have a kind heart but it too has been affected by depression, and now you have left it consume you. In life we must find our own path and walk it. You want to find some comfort in life and saying goodbye to this person will give you that.

But with this person you have had good memories, but they are forgotten it seems, and now this person has also been affected. People do change but sometimes it is for the worse.

The ending is cratfed well, as you say your final goodbye to this world. I love the emotions within this piece as they are well thought out and the message is well written. It is difficult to say goodbye, but you let your feelings out well. 5/5
