Eternal Snow

I watch the snowflakes
Fall down on the frozen lake
I think back to our mistakes
And my heart starts to ache

With you in that cold place
Felt like it was all a daze
I remember how your beautiful face
Always threw me off base

That same place, you confessed
Where I gladly accepted your request
The first time I laid my head on your chest
When in your arms, I used to rest

By this lake, we had our first kiss
Everything about us I miss
To you nothing about us exists
But these feelings are hard to dismiss

Leaving us was hard i know
Slowly down my cheeks the tears flow
My tears, clear as the snowflakes that glow
Turn in to my eternal snow.
