Torture hole

by Sage   Mar 7, 2015

Who dare go down the torture hole;
The cold, shivery haunt of taunted souls
This space is no place for a man to roam
Don't make a mistake of relating to home

Here held the realm of unbearable misery
Treacherous, thunderous sounds of despair
There lay a boy in broken agony
Unmanaged and damaged beyond repair

His screams do screech but no one hears
and no one sees his lonely tears
he fears the force of raging rain
Lighting storms cause frightening pains

His heart has grown as hard as stone
like garden gnomes that guard our homes
His lifeless pose has firmly froze
The torture hole has torched his soul

Surrounded by the sound of dark
astounded friends now turn their back
Bound inside his lonely arch
staring through eternal black.
