Candle Lit Graveyard

by John Doe   Mar 15, 2015

A single silent violin
shimmering on that breezy night.
No silver of your dear moon,
just yellow shimmering candle light.

Candles, champagne and a table for two,
and a million dots on a background blue.
Me wearing the best I have,
me,waiting with an open horse cab.

And you,in that stunning black dress that day,
and you,six feet beneath us you lay.
So I sit there ,sobbing, holding on to your memories shards,
so I sit there sobbing in the candle lit graveyard.
