Last Tear-Drop

by Baby Rainbow   Mar 20, 2015

You just can't resist the opportunity
to rub salt into my wound,
then smile with a sense of profane satisfaction.

The thought of dragging you to court
suddenly seems like an incredible journey -
oh to wipe that smug smirk off your face,
even though I know there will be
trouble along the way.

Enclosing you inside a room of strangers,
humiliating you and shaming you for
exactly WHAT you are!

You may think you're winning
but all in good time you will realise
that you have lost,
and justice will be the last tear-drop
you will ever make me cry!

".....justice will be the last tear-drop you will ever make me cry!" A superb and fitting last line.

Wow! Powerful stuff! You really know how to get the hate out there through your poems! Do you get a sense of justice being done too when you have finished? I hope you do! Straight to the point! WHAT!
