Eek, this just made my morning waking up to this! My favorite part? "we survive the night" - I get chills at the end, like no matter what pain and suffering, no matter if there is no sun in your life, you create your own light to carry you through. I love the ethereal feel to this and how you both live so far apart, yet there's that connection like your souls understand each other, that "static embrace".

    Good job, you two!

Wow... this is one of the best poem collabs I have ever read! I looove the imagery you both created.

From the first stanza, there was something so refreshing about what you were describing.

    "Orphaned souls left abandoned,
    entwined with kisses of light
    exhaled upon the shoulders,
we wander the world in a static embrace"

^^ I think this is my favorite stanza (if I can even choose a favorite). I love how you depict how strong this bond is - and this line is beautiful: "we wander the world in a static embrace"

"Breaking the silence of the shades
    with words only the wounded
    might comprehend-
in a radiant world of ours,
    we survive the night."

^^ Okay the last stanza is also my favorite. I looooove the ending - like Poet on the Piano mentioned, there's a beauty in seeing the light and staying strong and positive no matter what is happening in your life.

This poem was penned beautifully. Well done you two! <3333

A superb poem, seamlessly put together which is always difficult collaborating.
