The Dark African Princess

by Ehly Spears   Apr 8, 2015

Glancing through her majestic heart,
There i see the purity of the heart.
The heart so strong and courageous.
Staring at her face,
wow i almost choke with amazement.
Her brown eyes so sparkling,
Like a golden almond.
Her mouth so small with juicy lips.
Her dark face so spotless,
Smiling is the daily activity that occurs on her face day and night.
The smile that will last through eternity.
i then glance at her body,
The beautiful part of them all.
Hips so tiny however so curvaceous.
My God! Her skin so dark,
Like the dark valley of an African cave.
The way she walks reflect everything i ought to know,
About the dark African princess.
Her words are as vigorous as the mountain Kilimanjaro.
Words full of inspiration and life.
That was the poetry about the dark African princess.
The African princess indeed.

I definitely like this poem, it's stunning only thing I didn't like was that some "I"s were capitalized and some were not, if you go back to fix that little problem it's going to be amazing! Also I don't think this belongs in the dark category I think it goes under miscellaneous since it's iffy to any category but that one! Have fun fixing it.

Also I loved the imagery for a beginner it's adorable.

Anyways have a nice day! 5/5
