The stupendous occasion it was
As the scientist speculated the prevailed comet
The comet of which I tell you
Was making rigorous approach towards this very earth
The errands were running through the smartphones
Of the elegant comet manifested in the sky
But!
The vivacious joy of the spectators was allayed
When the proximity of the comet becomes anon
Several religious incumbents of different sects
Started the praying of repentance to the One
Of whom they got their faith
Few who conjectured the impending calamity
Conceded the end of the earth stolidly
Though denunciation rife through some parts of the world
But!
The perihelion of paramount magnitude
Collided with this very earth
Which succumbed to tenuity in analogous of constriction
The pungent scent of fervid ether
Stupor the inhabitants with sustenance
Then there was a sonorous reverberation
Lo!
The earth falls forever
Into the arms of lethargic slumber.
