Uninvited

by Edward Oropeza   Apr 16, 2015

Calling her by her name,
She said you ask him.

Asking her for a dine,
She said you can take her.

Asking her for a friend,
She waved offering anonymity.

She held a party,
I'm not on the list.

She's busy answering call,
But not on my call.

Maybe its time to pack things,
and leave everything to trying.

There is still places to find life,
free from her memories, free from her invitations
when I am not invited.

A poem I'm sure many can relate to. Sometimes it's best to move on. Great work.
