One Way Only

by Larry Chamberlin   Apr 19, 2015

She speaks roughly
each phrase heavy,
slamming like heated
sledgehammers
deconstructing sense,
terminating communication.

I really enjoyed this one. It was very simple but carries a lot of meaning behind it. Lovely work as always. -Nik

From what I get from this, it's like a one-way communication. The one who speaks roughly becomes the hindrance to communication. Her words are harsh, or heavy that the other one just back-off 'cause he can't get past the other one's defense. It can also be through those rough words, she lost the chance to listen and understand the opinions or views of others. Like she only wants herself to be the only one that is heard. Maybe, I am just ranting. Haha.. Sorry.. ): Hope I made sense. ): But I enjoy the read and it made me think.
