I like how you have linked a baby's cry to a warrior. I know there are some rituals where boys who become warriors have a ceremony where their cries show or announces their statehood. Nicely penned.

This poem hurts me so bad *wipes the tears out of my eyes* as a mother (spiritually speaking) it breaks my heart because I always wanted a little daughter when I was younger I wanted a baby girl and throughout my life I had multiple time where I could've had a daughter and this hits a little bit to close to home, since my daughter would've a warrior, a fighter, a lover, but mostly she would've been beautiful inside and out. Nicely done sweetie I hope one day you have your little warrior to protect and to love. 5/5

The process of being born is the ultimate battle to the baby and you captured that so well in your poem. So many die in the process of exiting the womb, for so many different reasons. They are indeed brave little soldiers:)
My boy almost died as well, he came out of the womb all blue and with an Apgar score of 1. You would not tell, though, if you looked at him now!
I hope you will have a child as well, as I just know it would have the best mum ever:)
