Enroute to you

by Chelsey   Apr 30, 2015

There's an instrument in my closet that I can't play and
Lord knows I can't sing a tune, but the minute you walked
out the door, I cried the saddest song this world has never heard.

My heart sends a flame to my mind to burn the
thoughts of someone else;
as if a possibility of another could compare to you-
my blessing.

I'm fluent in Babble, yet my tongue resists the language,
(stubborn ways refusing to remind you of our love.)
It's my fault, it's your fault, it's their fault, but where has
blame ever gotten us besides this dismissal?

Truthfully, true love was made known when you
turned your back to me. Forgiveness quickly surfaced
and shattered was embarrassment, hopelessness,
disappointment. True love walked in and you brushed
its shoulders during your exit.

I love you.
My sweet guy, I love you.
You mustn't condemn your choice, but change its direction-
back to me.

All that's left to pray is that the notes of my weeping

ring beautifully to your ears.

Oh my God! I love this! Added to favorites! Sadly I already voted three this week... If it's still available next week to vote for, I'll surely do... Or I hope someone would nominate this. *fingers crossed*

Such honest thoughts and feelings and emotion here! Great write (:
