Cupcake::

by Scott Cole   May 2, 2015

My dad is german chocolate
My mom red velvet cake,
Because of my size
They named me Cupcake.

My much bigger brother
Is tough as can be,
So we call him pound
Cause he likes hitting on me.

My older little sister
We call her no-bake,
She thinks she's all that
But she's nothing but fake.

My mom's crazy aunt
Is a little upside down,
And at birthday reunions
Her smile is a frown.

And my dad's first cousin
Who's a total fruit cake,
Thank God we only see him
On holiday breaks.

My poor old grandfather
The batter we came from,
Since he's all but dried out
We call him sponge.

And my silly grandmother
Is silly as can be,
She always make us smile
So we call her cheese.

Then there's ice cream
Whos a blessing within,
My little half brother
With droll on his chin.

And don't forget bundt
My bestest best friend,,
Who's always wearing
His sweet little grin.

Now there you have
My big family of cakes,
And we all look similar
Except my sister no-bake.

This was heartwarming! Couldn't stop smiling! The content was superb at invoking good feelings.

This structure was very well organized and read well, you kept to your rhyme scheme during a theme of cake analogies, which I find pretty impressive. Simply Awesome!
