Winters and Springs

by yogi73   May 13, 2015

Passing winters into thawing springs
as goes the death and life of things.
Across the horizon where the sun meets the sea
for a long time have traveled we.
Surging winds cap the swells with white
wailing howls in the dead of night.
The storms I make that have no end
but when I look, I've seen you old friend.
You've been my light in the dark
Always kept close to my heart

Lovely friendship poem. We don't see enough poems in this category (that I have noticed, anyway) so it was a refreshing read indeed!
