A Tree Of Life:

by Scott Cole   May 24, 2015

When you were a baby
Just a small little sprout,
Mother Earth gave you up
So you could branch out.

You were took from the dirt
And then placed in a cup,
As curious little eyes
Watched you grow up.

Your roots had it's fill
And you started to grow,
So your temporary home
Told you it's time to go.

Your removed from the cup
And then placed in a hole,
You better get settled
This is your new home.

To grow and to flourish
And be all you can be,
For a small little sprout
Its a great big ole tree.

I adore this poem. I always had a great passion for trees.
