Blue Monday

by Monsieur Lefevre   May 25, 2015

I don't want to do anything.
I don't have the energy.
I don't wanna sleep,
But I don't want to do anything requiring work.
I don't wanna eat,
But I don't want to starve.
I don't wanna drink,
But I don't want to get dehydrated.
I don't wanna listen to music,
But I don't want to listen to silence
I don't wanna watch TV,
But I don't want to sit in the dark.
I don't want to play any games
But I don't want to be bored.
I don't want to talk to anyone,
But I don't wanna hold everything in.
I don't want to breathe,
But I don't have a choice.
I don't want to keep my eyes closed,
But I don't want to look at anything
I don't want to do anything,
But I don't want to sit around.
I don't want to send this to anyone,
But I don't want to have written this for just myself.
I don't want to wash my hair,
But I don't want my hair to be a mess tomorrow.
I don't want to go to school,
But I don't want to miss seeing what friends I have left.

Life's full of conundrums and it seems you have a fair few! I suppose the problem is we don't get anything for free in life and anything worth having requires some sort of effort. Be nice if it didn't though, wouldn't it?

    Take care
