My Loss

After a great
retrograde,
I just returned
from those days,
so painful,
so sorrowful...
hoping that
no other day
should I get off track;
but who knows
their future ahead...
Even it is totally
unknown to me...
And in this darkness,
no one with
a ray of light, to lead me, I see;
and due to this, I was misled,
it misled me to a grave
path of life...
...to a path that
I wasn't suppose to.
It led me again
to those painful,
sorrowful days.
Though I decided
I won't let myself down,
but I had to.
I held the hands
of someone,
someone who had
set me to a track,
a track full of obstacles...
once more and again...
I promised myself
not to trust anyone;
but I was forced.
Thus, whatever happens to people like me,
(those who don't carry on with their promise)
happened with me too;
the one who
had held my hand,
left me alone.
I am alone once again,
and at last
I realised,
I have lost
two most precious
things of my life...
and that's
Love & Friendship.
And now,
I say,
I feel,
I consider,
that
Loneliness is much Better.
