I can relate to this poem and feel quite connected with it. I think you have done well to use this chained verse, and the small short lines with a fast pace, which clearly represents the fast pace of thoughts at the time, with the anxiety evident in every verse.

I think this poem really highlights a lot of things such as OCD, Anxiety, racing thoughts, whilst also the pretend mask that tries to show everything is fine on the outside, even though all of the above is going on inside.

It is also like if you repeat it to yourself enough, you are trying to convince yourself that it is true.

Wow, you write such interesting perspective poems. I love this for being unique. I love the scene feelings to this as well, you jump from one scene to the next, that makes for a different poem. The metaphors are stunning here as well.

It seems like from the start of the poem, you are talking about depression. But it's deeper than that, there seems to be resentment maybe? Either that or you are trying to distract your mind. You want to do anything to halt the feelings you have inside, and towards the end it seems like you do that.

The metaphor though is beautiful, I don't think I have ever seen a poem comparing dirty dishes to depression but you make it work so well lol. You say it is fine but we all know dishes are never truly clean, and I think that is the point you were going for here, no matter how many times you think you get rid of or distract depression, it always comes back, just like dishes get dirty. 5/5
