God's Love

I came home today,
Cried just like before,
But this time was different,
I wasn't crying for you anymore.

I cried more than ever,
Such a relief that I felt,
Knowing that I was crying,
For God and no one else.

God heard me pray,
He even saw the tears,
God knew I was ashamed,
And yes, God cared!!

Unlike it was with you,
I felt God draw near,
God's presence was with me,
And He did not leave me in despair!

I know that I'm okay now,
I can make it through the pain,
Cause with the Lord beside me,
I'll live my life once again.

This time it'll be better,
Cause He'll never let me down,
Instead He will lift me up,
Every time I hit the ground!

You see I realized one thing,
No matter what I do,
No matter where I go,
God will help me
Live once again
With or without you!
