My Tumor

by Dominique Lewis   Jun 3, 2015

"Dominique we have some bad news..."
"Yes, what is it?"
"You have a heart tumor dear. You don't have much time."
"Oh gosh what am I going to do?"

Tears flowing like the river,
My loved ones crying hard,
Making all of us shiver,
Leaving my loving family scarred.

"Sweetie I don't want to lose you."
"Baby girl I love you my precious daughter."
"You will always be my best friend."
"You don't deserve this."

My time has now been cut short,
But I must move on and be brave,
Soon it will be my time to depart,
I will soon be buried in my grave.

I'm so sorry sweetie, life is unexpected and not really fair like it takes away the young and fair hearted away from their loving families, yet leaves the villains to continue their wrong doing and leaving broken families in their wake. All I can say is life your life to the fullest there's nothing else I can say because I could say I have had the ones I care about taken from me but it's not me we're talking about, honey, you have so much light in you life isn't determined by the amount of years you spent living it's by how much you took advantage of it all. Just saying *hugs* you'll do great in your final moments because YOU'RE a survivor :)
