The imagery here stands out for me, Memories can be a very toxic thing in life, and here you did well to show us the sad side it can inflict on a soul. You used all thing negative things you could to numb the pain of the past, but what a lot of people don't do is ask themselves if its worth it. No is the real answer but people tend to cope in a lot of negative ways.

Like here, alcohol mixed with pills is what a lot of people do. it helps them so much. Anyways I do love the simple wording you used here, because it does craft the meaning of the poem nicely, and it seems to me that its a personal poem mixed with imagery, not heavy metaphors, but non are needed in my opinion.

People always take a broken heart and shatter it more than they have to. but I do love how this played out, because in your words and through your eyes you let the author see how you cope or this main character copes in a lot of ways, it gives more meaning to the reader imo. anyways all in all this is a wonderful write because I think more than me, a lot of people can relate to this piece well. that's the reason I nominated it honestly. 5/5

Powerful, emotional write. I like how honest you are in what you wish for, even though you know the pills, vodka, and whispers won't help. It makes me think of what we desire deep in our heart, that want to be purely loved without any setbacks, vs. the reality we have to remind ourselves of. The reality of moving on and realizing it wasn't true. But maybe it can be true with someone else. This piece really illustrates that feeling of being broken and feeling hopeless, which I hope you can conquer. I hope you can overcome this pain. Thinking of you.

Hannah's poem struck a huge chord within my soul on this lovely formatted and flowing poem.

This poem is a side of how alcohol can destroy a life yes... but the numbing message is touched upon with elegance and grace.. Wonderful write!!
