Gardener,

you eradicate
the overgrowth of weeds
smothering my soul,
planting daisies in your

wake.

Crystal, I am really happy to read a new poem from you. I LOVE this poem honestly, it has your usual metaphors but it has a deep meaning as well. It seems to be saying that this person is weeding out the poison that your heart holds and planting something beautiful within, or at least that is what I see here. The gardener you write about here seems to be someone who is really close to you and you them and the rest is history, BUT I love how you set this up as well. Gardener stands well on its own here, plus you have the message of the poem and then wake, I love the word wake here, because to me it holds a lot of meaning. I can see wake used as waking up and finding happiness. that's just my opinion though. 5/5
