Unexplainable Pain

I will never be able to share
the dark secrets I keep inside,
because I will always be afraid
of how they will appear on the outside.

I do not have the words anymore
to try and explain how I feel,
I simply feel how I feel,
and I no longer care enough
to help anyone understand.

And I guess the deepest truth is,
that I have never felt this lost before,
never felt so convinced of letting go...

... and running right back to the safety of you.
