The Falling

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Jun 15, 2015

Those eyes
They make me wonder if I'll ever
Get tired of the butterflies
I'm used to the kind that always has a disguise
They only appear for a prize
But your touch
It makes me wonder if I just
Use it as a crutch
Because my body loves it too much
Whatever the case, darling, I still get a rush

Those lips
They make me wonder if I'll ever
Get tired of your kiss
I'm covered in absolute bliss and, of course,
It's my heart that your arrow couldn't miss
And that soul
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear
It's made of gold
So I've been told, I can be bold but I hadn't known
That your hand would ever be mine to hold

The hardest part to falling
Is supposed to be the part when we let go
But I've gotten tired of having to pretend
Like I don't wanna know what's at the end

I would fall for you
As long as you fall with me
I would fall with you
As long as you fall for me
