Safe And Sound

by Eric Ngobeni   Jun 15, 2015

The road is poetry in motion.
But don't play with fire.
There are earthquakes on the road.
Pedestrians must have a bird's eye view on the road.
Motorists must stop rushing like a headless chicken.
Drinking while driving will not come up roses.
Eating while driving will upset the applecart.
Phoning while driving will set the cat among the pigeons.
Oh, we must let the sleeping dogs lie.
And let the traffic signs bring us to heel.
And arrive safe and sound.
