OMG this poem is brilliant, I love this.

I love the metaphors you have used in the first stanza. Fireworks always seem to bring joy to a lot of our lives and laughing expresses well the joy you are feeling inside here. I love that. I love how you used darkest sky here as well, As humans we all experience some kind of darkness inside and out and anyone who can light up our darkness is special. But what you are saying here is, the dogs in your life are the fireworks and they light up your darkest moments. And this dog, your dog makes you happy everytime they are near you. Great poem. 5/5

A joy to read. This is a wonderful little poem Saffie. The imagery is fantastic, I know exactly what you mean by fireworks in your tummy, fizzling and crackling with joyous energy, lighting up your life and making the world a happier place.

It would be so good if this feeling stayed with us always
