This is such an interesting poem saffie, I don't think I have ever read a poem where a person used sports to write about sadness. I thought the metaphors were perfect and you used them well.

I think we have all felt this way at one time or another, how you felt kicked around and how our heart has been passed around all the time. It is quite sad to feel powerless over our own bodies, and that is what I think you are saying here, through my eyes, I see someone who is lost and maybe even hopeless, and through your eyes, the main character has been through a lot in their life, experienced heartbreak and pain, and yet they are strong for the pain they went through. I do love also how you stayed with the theme of sadness here as well, it is pleasing to the eyes of the reader and it flows so well. 5/5

    Hello,

a rather strange, yet strange purpose in life to be a punching bag for everyone. This for me makes me wonder. I wonder if a person is put down on a regular basis they relent and submit and allow this behavior.

This write has a sense of sadness and makes me feel for the underdog. "leave them alone" I say, pointing my finger at them.

A poem for the underdog, the put upon, the down trodden, the shy and lacking in confidence - Bravo!

    Take care
