This poem instantly grabbed me because of that lovely old word "jocund" which always reminds me of the Wordsworth poem "I wandered lonely as a cloud" which is where I first came across it!
Anyway, A wonderfully written piece with some lovely imagery.

I loved the vocabulary in this poem and the imagery is stunning here. I am sorry that you have lost someone close to you, but that is what makes poetry writing great, we can let our feelings flow free.
