Dulcet Soul

The song that no one knows
is one that's born from the
heart, and seeps into your
veins;

It'll show up deep within
the mind, and it'll be
impossible not to play along
with the melody.

Some days it's born blue
testing the waters that
borne it,

other times it will breathe
its last when you let go of
its' embrace,

but even as it dies from
excruciating pain of
a broken heart, there's one
thing it will always do.

Grabbing your hands it will
whisper softly and gently like
a feather and utter
these words:

"I'm a song that was created by
God, then later given to you like a
blessing...

I'm the song that
no one knows."
