Heart broken by your silence
I see the emptiness in your eyes
as you try to smile.
It's okay to cry,
but don't say you're okay.
The warmth your bright eyes cast across the room
now feels like a vampire grave,
empty.
Babe, open up to me,
let me back in.
Help me save you from the pain consuming you from inside.
Take my hand,
will walk with you to the end of the world.
Let me be part of your solution,
let me break down your sorrows and bring in joy and happiness,
let me love you
let me be there for you
let me be the person to make you smile
let me be the joy you seek.

    I would add "a" between like/vampire. Also a bit confusing using a vampire, because typically they don't die? They're known for being immortal (for the most part). Otherwise it's a really interesting thought!

    I really thought the part about saying it's okay to cry, but don't say you're okay was interesting, and something I can relate to. I am so guilty of crying and saying not to worry, I'm okay. And sometimes crying truly does make you feel better/okay.. but it seems here there is a deeper issue. Sometimes the best way to help someone "fix" something is by taking a step back and truly just being a presence in their life. Listening and hearing without responding, without giving an answer. Sometimes we need to just get it all out and sort it out ourselves before we can feel better.

      "like a vampire grave" it was accompanied by the word "empty" meaning it's impossible.
