Your Memories

by Shruti   Jun 30, 2015

The pages flicked,
as the wind
swirled through,
and stopped,
right there...
...there...on that day...
and led me again
to that bygone
memory lane...
..the day when we met,
the day when we talked...
how we laughed,
how we smiled,
how we cried....together
and never did leave
the hand of one another...
of you I always
thought and really did care...
how I thought it would
be like that forever...
..but..fate...had already
decided..
..something that none can change..
our separation...
our parting...into two different pathways.
I watched from
afar and kept standing
there...
awaiting your
return...
and once again for your voice to hear;
despite the fact,
that I know I can't.
Today, again, there
I stand,
as I recall once again
your smile
your laughter,
my heart aches
with pain.
I look up to the sky as
I feel the cool air...
the air from heaven,
carrying your memories,
I feel your presence
I feel your care...
floating in the soothing heavenly air...

You find that special someone all is wonderful, beautiful and each moment is precious for that person becomes a part of you. Then all is gone with his/her departure. Questions, yearning, pain, memories and wondering and the worst part of all waiting...waiting for that one person to come back-that is the killer.

    Touching write...take care
