Moon

by Vickie Spears   Jul 3, 2015

Vanilla moon in a velvet sky...
As I look upon that stoic face, I feel compelled to ask -Why..
Why - with all that beauty in the vast sky so many idly pass on by...
Never to see the majesty and beauty so easily seen with mesmerized eye...
But I choose to honor your moonlite against the night sky and be engulfed in the jasmine breeze floating by....
Wishing I could be caught in that magic breeze and fly...
Fly through the night - caressing the lite and breathing in the glow..
Wrapping arms around as we softly go ...
Gliding and dancing as we fly. . flying away on high..

A lovely poem, beautifully written. So many people do miss the beauty around them, don't they?
