The extended metaphor here is breath taking, both how it followed through the poem, and how true to it you were. Regret and pain, among others, are very embodied emotions. You capture that perfectly here. -hugs- How do you feel about this poem?

This is a sad one. I'm not from that kind of background, but when I try to put myself in the shoes of someone who is, I can only just imagine how unbearable it must be. Even then, imagination is limited until you experience something yourself, so I'm sure what I imagine isn't too close to the reality of it. Forgive me if I'm speaking out of line, but I hope things look up for you soon :)
