Three weeks and three days
since you last said you loved me,
then took it back 14 hours later.

since I felt your lips on mine
and the first of many heartbroken tears.

since I held you in my arms,
then refused your parting hug.

since I last looked into your blue/gray eyes, mesmerized,
then refused to look at you while sobbing.

Like a month
since you made me feel on top of the world,
then left me feeling like I was drowning in myself.

It's been awhile
since I've felt whole;
