A new life

by Teria   Jul 8, 2015

Sanity at stake,
emotions are fake.
No one knows me,
not the real me.
I hide within,
empty with sin.
Hiding the truth,
where is the truth?

Lost and broken,
do you feel what I feel?
Sadness descends,
a new life begins.

Thankful for power,
I no longer cower.
Free from the chains,
I finally feel sane.

Boxed in and tied,
ropes cut the lies.
Rainbows ahead,
depression has shed.

A new life for me,
do you see what I see?
Happiness descends,
a new life begins!

Lovely last stanza, full of hope. Excellent.
