The Yellow Moon:

by Scott Cole   Jul 9, 2015

The Yellow Moon glistens
As it flickers all about,
It makes you wanna stare
And try to figure out.

With all its stunning beauty
For all the World to see,
It shows off it's talents
Like you never have seen

It sparkles with bright lights
Up high in that dark sky,
That it catches all attention
For all wondering eyes.

Once all does look up
Then their all in a trance,
For it takes but a second
Only a short little glance.

Look high in that dark sky
And see what you may,
The moon and the stars
Are both hard at play.

Lighting up the night sky
It's so wonderful to see,
With such great team work
Like you wouldn't believe.

For both work as one
For the better of others,
By painting the night
With lots of shiny colors.
