Brokenness

by DarkLight   Jul 9, 2015

A heart without emotional response to love is of a dark soul...
.
.
.
.
It's not the loneliness that stole my happiness,
but my inability to hold to what I love.
Emptiness host parties in my heart,
inviting all the unwanted as guest.
How much I would pay to feel,
the joy that comes with the feeling of love.
I love you, I say,
without meaning is no use.
I let my brokenness harrase my well being of my conscious
at the end of the day,
I will be empty not lonely.
Hurting not broken.
Unhappy but not without joy.
Alive yet dying inside.
A name but painted with shame.
Full belly yet starving for love.
Surrounded but still longing for your touch, your warmth, your kisses,
your scent.
I miss you.
I wish best for you.
A life made of love, happiness and all the things you consider dying for.
Live life. Love life. Enjoy love.
