The More They Try

The more they try and break us up,
The stronger our relationship will get,
The more they try and ruin my life
The less I will forget

The little things you don?t know
Like how much you mean to me
The little thing words can?t explain
Like how much I love you

Please stay now, you left me here alone
When will they learn
There?s nothing they can do to bring us down
Please stay I can't make it on my own

I can?t believe I doubted you
Even just for a second
Is there anything I can do
To make it all up to you

They little things they can?t understand
Like how we will overcome our problems
The little things they can?t comprehend
Like how much I love you

The more they try and break us up,
The stronger our relationship will get,
The more they try and ruin my life
The less I will forget

I don?t care what they say
I?m happy with life my way
I will never believe their lies
Don?t tell me what you think
Go live your own lives

    I have a friend like that...I spend a lot of time with him because he lives right down the road from where I live...everyone thinks it's weird but I'm like "dude I can have guy friends if I want" So yeah basically everyone wants us to STOP spending time with each other which will happen eventually....he's moving back to Iowa next summer....great job on the poem
