The Final Days: Chapter One (Black Dog)

by Cantchangeme   Jul 11, 2015

So I have bled for you
You who do not care
I have laid myself open
For a shadow never there

Each piece of me eviscerated
Thrown to the listless jaws
Left to rot by morning
Behind countless closed doors

But I would pull your teeth
Spit in those yellow cavities
I am the shadow of the waste
Preserving your depravity's

I will never leave your side
Inhabiting your mind as you fall
Beyond conscious beyond caring
Whispering hate as you lose all

The sun godsays
Nothing gold can last
These final days
Sunshade overcast
