Do you even know what mom means?
The full meaning of mom?
The requirements in having the title mom?

A mom is loving
A mom is caring
A mom is presence
A mom is benevolence

You exert your "rights" as mom
But you can't expect me to honor them
When you have dishonored the title
And destroyed the flame that cared

Have you ever been there?
When i needed you?
Have you ever understood me?
When no one else could?

Have you shown me compassion?
When I need it the most?
Have you given me your time?
When I wanted it?

You were never there
You were never here
I wanted a mom
But you were busy

Have you shown me love?
When I was sick in bed?
It was never you
It was never the mom

When i screamed for you
Where were you?
My childhood was full of games...
But where were you?

You never got into the picture
When i wanted you to
Your presence was absent
When I wanted you here.

So as you accuse me
Of not think of you as a mom
Think of the times when i wanted one
And ask, "where were you...mom?"
