    Hi Meme,

I love the layout of this poem. The image of a kite and what it represents. A love that is unrequited perhaps?

Great piece with measured suspense and anticipation.

    Silence can mean so much!

    Good work.

Hey Michael, thanks for the comment. And yes, silence can have a massive effect on someone...

I'm not really sure what to say about this piece. I loved it, sounded quite well as I read, but the words escape my reach blocking away my understanding of what is happening.

My guess, is you talking of a broken heart either from depart or so.

    In wonderment
    he strayed, so
    far the clouds
    became his
    second home
    or perhaps
    his only!

In this stanza is where I get the idea of that.

    Again it's only my guess.

    The sun slapped
    her eyes shut
    every time her
    chin aimed high.
    .
this part I liked it more.
The personification of sun slappinv her eyes shut was really good.

That is my thought if wrong would be happy know. If right well and good. I like the lay out and the flow made me read through many times before deciding to comment.

Thanks for the beautiful and well done write.

Its about trying to let someone go, but also keeping the only connection with them last!

Umm..my limited understanding of a kid tells me, you're comparing one lover to a kite. A slight thread (bond) that holds them together. But fear that a strong gust of wind ( some event) or if that bond slips away from her hold it might break that bond/string and he might drift away to some place far away. And she struggles to hold it tight. ? t's beautiful. (But lil kid can't grasp much of it)
